    Action Reflection Customized Coaching

Action & Reflection* space to explore and practice that which allows you to flourish in ways that enriches the world around you! Consider this week’s quote as a call or reminder to participate in creating a flourishing life that adds to the well-being of others: “The oceans of history are made turbulent by the ever-rising tides of hate.  History is cluttered with the wreckage of nations and individuals that pursued that self-defeating path of hate.  Love is the key to the solution of the problems of the world.” “One day we will learn that the heart can never be totally right if the head is totally wrong.  Only through the bringing together of head and heart – intelligence and goodness – shall humanity rise to...

After you have listened that story out of them, and if you have time, ask a follow-up question …or simply ask about a second example of “wonderful”....

  • Breaking through Fear

    fear-on-september-11th

Recent commemoration of the ten-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks reminded Americans of the fearless response of thousands to save and rescue victims.  In particular, the passengers on Flight 93 heroically decided to crash the plane in an empty field near Shanksville, PA rather than let the hijackers cause even greater destruction. Can you be fearless in carrying out your most challenging and crucial assignments? Human history has countless stories of people who have been fearless. Being fearless is not being without fear.  Fear is basic to being human and we all feel afraid at times.  What’s important then is to observe what we do with our fear! Fearlessness simply means that we do not give fear the power to silence or stop us....
